About the Photographer: Cheyenna Brehm⬇

I got my very first camera when I was in 5th grade and from that moment on, a camera goes with me everywhere I go.  My Grandfather was a photographer and I cherish that we shared a love for photography and capturing moments.

I attended the University of Houston where I received a degree in Public Relations, and of course my most favorite college course was Photojournalism.  It really taught me how capture feelings and the story while taking photos – it was here that I found my love for candid photography.

As a native Houstonian, I have a background in nonprofit public relations, and I am the former Public Relations Director of the Children’s Museum of Houston. I also worked for a Public Relations firm in Houston where I specialized in Civic Engagement.  I believe my PR background provides me with a unique set of skills as a photographer when working with many of my clients.  Clients often hire me to capture photos to use in Annual Reports, marketing materials and to document their efforts in the community including luncheons, galas and various service projects.

As a mom to three young children, I have been documenting their lives through photography since they were born. And I find great joy in capturing children being themselves, enjoying celebrations and being with their family and friends.  I love event photography and I value the privilege of being able to capture special gatherings for my clients.  I know the importance of making sure the event planners themselves are a part of the photographic memories.

I am a volunteer at my children’s Middle and Elementary schools and as a Girl Scout Leader and enjoy documenting our school’s events for their yearbooks, fundraisers and special events as well as capturing our Girl Scouts doing what they love.

I am very passionate about taking photos, but I love the joy of sharing them even more.   I would love to capture your next nonprofit or corporate event needs and family celebrations.

Clients that I have had the privilege to work and/or volunteer for include Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, HESS Corporation, the University of Houston Law Center, Best Buddies- Houston, Houston Technology Center, Coalition for the Homeless, Capital One/Pierpont Communications, LISC, Sinclair Elementary, Frank Black Middle School, Wharton Dual Language Academy, Genesys Works - Houston, CHeBA HUT Houston/Dacoma, Bestie Events, HPI Energy, World Affairs Council- Houston, BAG Art Gallery, Johnson Memorial School, GLF Equestrian Team and Prelude Music Foundation.
